This project is a redesign of the wine labels for Mato’s Winery & Distillery, created for their Chardonnay, Wild Berry, and Rosé wines.

Instead of using the common PEI map to indicate that the wines are locally made, I chose to incorporate a lighthouse—an iconic and beloved symbol of Prince Edward Island. This shift not only adds a fresh visual identity but also connects more meaningfully with both locals and tourists.


The redesign was thoughtfully crafted to appeal to two key audiences: Island residents who take pride in their home, and visitors seeking a memorable, place-rooted souvenir. Each label reflects the wine’s character through subtle color variations while maintaining a cohesive and elegant brand presence. This project blends regional storytelling with refined, market-ready packaging design.
