Hi, I’m Joni—a UI/UX and graphic designer currently based in Charlottetown, Canada.
I discovered my passion for design during my junior year at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines while taking a Web Design class as part of my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. That spark led me to pursue a creative path, and I later spent 3 years working as a UI/UX designer at the Philippines’ leading telco company, sharpening my eye for quality and user-centered thinking. More recently, I graduated from Holland College’s Graphic Design program in May 2025, further strengthening my skills across branding, digital design, and visual storytelling.
In 2025, I received the Silver Medal for Graphic Design at Skills Canada PEI, a milestone that motivates me to keep growing and pushing my creative boundaries.
As a designer, I strive to better myself at least 1% every day. I believe that good design can make a lasting impact on the world—and that great user experiences aren’t just good for business, they help shape how we live, connect, and thrive. My ultimate goal is to contribute to both technology and society through innovative, thoughtful design solutions.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably watching a comedy or crime series, exploring new places, or casually listening to Taylor Swift on repeat.
